In 2010, an Art Prize entry called The Steampig Experiment featured a 55-foot-long, 25-foot-high, 25-foot-wide rocket-powered pig. Carved from foam, the boar, dubbed "Parsifal," enchanted Art Prize audiences who gazed up at its porcine magnificence in the parking lot of The B.O.B. "Parsifal" won ninth place that year. Now comes a short film that tells the story of the obsessed Victorian-era inventor who conceived of "Parsifal." "The True Story of Hammond VanOchre and His Amazing Flying Steampig" chronicles the obstacles and achievements that paved the way for "Parsifal" to fly.
