Being able to paint with my fingers and turning the photo into a graphic just feels natural to me. After several sessions of self-reflection, I’m coming to the conclusion that this method of using Photoshop as an additional vehicle for expression could possibly represent the uncertainty I have for my future life. Being a college student, a worry and constant thought is “Where am I going after I graduate?” I think this subject has become more prominent the closer graduation creeps up, which is in a year from now. These blocks and brushstrokes that abstract and censor parts of the image are visual questions.
