My time-based installation 'Seeds of Change’ illustrates the strength and power of an individual. Meaningful, lasting change happens individually. A single seed sprouts, changing and transforming a landscape. Viewers will be given the opportunity to plant a seed and assist in this metamorphosis. ‘Seeds of Change’ engages its audience to promote change one seed, one blade of grass, at a time. Over the 19 days of ArtPrize watch the transformation. The installation will vanish, in a self-fulfilled, positive proclamation of the works intent. The site returns to its pre-ArtPrize origin – voila! This is not a political statement, it’s an illustration of personal responsibility for change by many individuals independently doing their small part.
