We all float on

The focus of many of my works has been the relationship between the audience and the piece itself. While I have a great many intentions with every drop of paint that hits the canvas, I have always felt that the visual consumption and exploration of my work by the audience, and in turn their interpretation, means more to me than any political or social message i could hope to convey. With my work I hope to create a moment of insight. To force the viewer to delve into their own minds and bring forth emotions, or ideas that they perhaps had not had or experienced. I want to spark a creative conversation between people without holding any hands, or forcing any one point of view.
