Bob Tucker developed his work from a scroll saw hobby to art after he recovered from a major stroke. This piece, Together Always, was inspired by a sculpture, The Valentine, by George Lundeen. Bob's other works include portraits, the Holland Light House (Big Red), and various other subjects. His pieces have been displayed at Freedom Village, Mary Free Bed, The Trestle Stop and Vicki's restaurants, and other community venues. His story has been written up in Scroll Saw Wood Working Crafts magazine, the Holland Sentinel, and The Freedom Village Crier. Bob lived most of his life in Hamilton, Michigan. He has a daughter, two sons, six grandchildren, and a great granddaugter. He is proud to be a veteran of the Vietnam War and has contributed a scroll saw piece to his company in the The United States Army in 2015. Current projects include a portrait of his wife, Barbara, and Nativity scenes for his grandchildren.
