Staring through a plane’s window drives us to contemplate how small and ethereal our own existence is but at the same time it reflects the magnitude of our place in the world pushing us to question our wholeness through different stages: 1. Vulnerability: the big mass of feelings that burst by don’t being in charge of the situation and going away from our comfort zone and the place we inhabit starts to get overlapped by the challenging perspective that gives us the view from the heights. 2. The pettiness of the human being: the big contradistinction of feelings between how tiny and trivial this infinite view from the world triggers and how every “tiny and trivial” action can leads us to make a great change and impact the big picture. 3. The escape: once peace have been reach, the need of breaking the glass and fly as a bird in this amazing context is released. Thus, the installation seeks to recreate emotions from the ephemeral experience of flying and capture those fragments of inner connection developed from within nature or human contact as a tool to question the place and action of every spectator.
