Riverdance II

Artprize 2016 introduced "Riverdance I" of 5 salmon swimming upstream to spawn and lay their eggs. It is a rigorous journey through strong currents. Now in 2017 in "Riverdance II", I portray the salmon jumping up the falls to get upstream. This is a struggle for survival of their species. This piece is an interpretive sculpture of five salmon. The sculpture is of butternut wood.
