Wright Bros. names under canopy with nick names Orville"Bubbo"given by Wilber as a child who couldn't pronounce brother and Wilbers nickname "Ullam" given by grandparents meaning William in German. CV63 on fuselage is i.d. number of the Kitty Hawk aircraft carrier. On bay door of forward landing gear,Captain Thomas Selfridge,first person and active U.S. military member to perish in an air vehicle crash of a powered airplane which occurred during a demonstration flight piloted by Orville Wright.
