High fired, unglazed terra-cotta ceramic wall reliefs. The works begin as life drawings, going from the three-dimensional model to two-dimensional visual interpretations and finally as shallow three-dimensional renditions of line, form, volume and shade. The ceramic material is naturally matte with polishing specific areas for accenting gloss. Approx. 9" to 12" wide. with finished wood hanging block attached to the back, holding the works out from the wall.
