What makes this artwork unique is the use of single wire on the Eagle and wire and braze on the sailboats and train. Each piece of art was hand sculpted from memory. The artist used wire that is heated, bent and hammered to make each intricate piece of the sculptor. Note that the Eagle is made from a single piece of wire to form each intricate feather, claw, fish and if you look closely you'll notice that the fish line coming out of the fish's mouth is in the shape of Michigan. The artist will have on display with each of the sculptors a picture that the artist has hand painted of each sculptor.
