Subordination of the Hoi Polloi

The society in which we live has been shaped, over time, by the prophets and idols we choose to follow. But, what makes a prophet and why do we follow? What makes one opinion more valuable than the next? More often than not, the credibility of an idea is determined by the number of people that support it. But does air-time and attention really validate wisdom? Is the desire to be part of something larger than ourselves so strong that it can eventually lead to self-destruction? In a society that surrounds us with opinions (religion, politics, media), it can be hard to find a voice that represents our inner truth. I challenge my viewers to ask themselves, “Which voices do we choose to validate?" and, "Are we, as individuals, manipulated innocents of a ritualistic society; lackadaisical wanderers following the direction of the wind? Or are we cognitive, active participants of a story that has yet to be told?”
