The Supreme Metals

Breath was created from the passion of art, friendship and the strength of women. Pat and I believe in the strength of all women, young and old. Through our experience, we have seen each other, our sisters, mothers, daughters, granddaughters, nieces experience the power and joy of being a woman, as well as the strength achieved by overcoming the obstacles that have been placed in our way by our mere existence. The collective power of women banning together creates an undeniable power within ourselves, This collective power is the embodiment of "Breath". Each metal sculpture piece is created using thousands of individually forged copper squares attached to a grided metal form. The final step is an involved process of coloring the metal with chemicals and heat.
