Old School Jazz

These are 19" Bronzes, titled Old School Jazz. The saxophone musician is a reflection of the jazz gifted to us by Miles Davis in "Some Kind of Blue". The musician in the piece is in touch with something powerful. Is he sensing it from within, or hearing it from his surroundings? Louis Armstrong was the master and genius of all trumpet players. All musicians aspire to perform in his shadow. Through this piece, do you hear the soulfulness of his tune, feel the soulfulness of his heart?
