Impressionism

This was my first piece out of my exploration into color theory and the first to catch the eye of those who viewed it. This piece has a somewhat hypnotic effect because of the bursts of colors being imaged in the viewer's brain.. The picture "moves" in your brain's visual center. This was quite an unexpected effect. I titled this piece "Impressionism" as the viewer experiences the effect of color impressions themselves, instead of the artist expressing their perceptions including color and light on the subject matter, I took this exploration a stage further into how color expresses and processes itself in the human brain's visual center. This is the foundational piece of all my subsequent work.
