Overflow is an attempt to portray the flow of information in the digital world by the extrapolation of physical forms into digital patterns and illusions. This piece pairs a drawing with a website in a juxtaposition of large scale and intricacy in stasis against the interactive yet constantly changing experience of the screen. In past history, artists painted the canvas as if it were a window. This artwork is symbolic of our movement away from the window and into the screen. The website is accessible at www.a-very.me. The drawing with a projection of the website is currently on display at Troy University.
