An abstract interpretation of the landscape of the dunes from afar. Judith Tummino is a working artist with paintings in public and private collections throughout the United States. She was born in Washington, D. C. She spent summers and holidays at the Chesapeake Bay and at her mother's childhood home in the Shenandoah Valley. Post-graduate studies included the School of the Art Institute of Chicago as well as many trips to Italy where she studied at the International School of Drawing, Painting and Sculpture. Her works are in public and private collections in Italy, the east coast and in the middle western states. Judith is represented by LaFontsee Galleries in Grand Rapids and Douglas, Michigan. She has exhibited in the Chelsea District of New York as well as in many exhibitions in Michigan. She was recently included in the publication "Art of the Sleeping Bear Dunes".
