Sunset Montmartre c.1896

Peter Warburton's avatar Peter Warburton

This work was inspired by old photos and drawings of Montmartre during this time period. The colors and feelings in the image come my experiences having visited there on many trips to Paris. Duct tape does not photograph well . This image is much more vivid in person. This will be my fourth year in Artprize .... Visitors seem to enjoy my work. Young and old have used Duct Tape. Viewing a work of fine art made from something they use to repair things.....Brings a smile to their face.....Art should make people happy.
