Forgotten Mare at Sand Creek

Lori Venturini's avatar Lori Venturini

Hand thrown bisque from Italy. The bowl is 16" in diameter and 5 1/2 " tall. It is hand painted with a red background symbolizing the massacre at Sand Creek. The mare painted is my own horse, named Raven. Approximately 50 hours were spent painting the piece. I am a self taught artist, and it has all been in the past 4 years.
