"Blues for the Homeless Still..."

Robin Jensen's avatar Robin Jensen

Life can be just a blur... Traveling on freeways and highways. Blasting by cities and towns. People are flashes of color...nonentities. Intersections and corners fly by. Then stopped by a traffic light And confronted By the dispossessed... The homeless... The invisible... Who cares? Jazz musicians care... Playing the Blues Expressing concern and compassion And (even) Hope. Blues for the homeless Still... The various images that make up the composition symbolize Broken Lives, Indifference, Concern and Hope. The artwork is a shaped two-dimensional, layered relief, created with computer drawing mediated prints mounted to foam core board.
