"Light is the Source of Life" is a tryptich, comprised of three paintings (4'x4 in the middle with 2'x4' on each side, gallery wrapped canvases, oils, light in weight, no frames needed). All three images represent local, Zeeland, Michigan, landscape at early morning light, captured in 2015 fall. The style is contemporary impressionism with intriguing rich texture, achieved by palette knife technique and rich contrasting colors. The art pieces represents lots of emotions we are all going through each day and the ability to see the light is exceptionally vital. Each morning brings us a new hope, a fresh start. It is highly important for me to inspire and motivate people to live positive and joyful life. And it's always a special moment for me when I hear that my art collectors or viewers experience just that. I immensely thankful to this venue for inviting me to be a part of their ArtPrize-8 art collection.
