'Copper Ghosts' is a collection of fifteen paintings inspired by Michigan's copper mining history. This series of oil paintings is an ode to the working class and builds on the legacy of the great American painter, Paul Collins, by telling the stories of the people who built America and honoring the good in humanity. Centering on the mining town of Clifton, Michigan, 'Copper Ghosts' is a walk through mid-19th century mining community. Featuring accurate costume design and authentic locations, the paintings tell the stories of struggle and love during the mining boom. This series also has a companion e-book for download.
