"It's Tea Time!" 60" x 36" oil painting on hardwood panel. This is my conceptual version of the Mad Tea Party in Alice in Wonderland classic. Exclusively created for Artprize. The finished oil painting will have 6" ornate gold frame, measuring 72" x 48" . ***Alice and teapot are centered in this composition. The trees ,The March hare, The Mad Hatter and dormouse frame her with glow from sun rays in the woods. Perspective lines point to Alice from the table and chairs to the roof top. All elements including lighting are strategically placed to keep the viewer traveling around the painting with emphasis always on Alice and main characters. She stands in frustration as she realizes she's in a never-ending tea party listening to rude illogical conversations and riddles with no answers. Time is frozen at 6 o'clock. The Mad Hatter points his spoon at the March Hare while grabbing the dormouse by the collar to awake him.. The March Hare is dipping a pocket watch in his tea. Alice hasn't had any tea. It's suppose to be fun because 'It's Tea Time!' Original Art is Available for Purchase! Signed Giclee Prints Available on Fine Art Stock and Canvas.
