Teach the Children Well

Wanda Aikens's avatar Wanda Aikens

Painting is 30 inches X 40 inches oil on cotton canvas. The painting shows children viewing a 4th of July parade along the parade route. The painting was designed to remind the viewer that children are trained by what they see. It is attribute of our love for our country. Some figures are holding American flags. The main figure is a young Boy Scout. I enjoy painting the human figure and creating life in a painting. This is a created composition. The Parade and children in attendance were created from my imagination. I hope when viewed it will inspire goodwill and enjoyment. I including the verse from Proverbs: "Never tire of Loyalty and kindness hold these virtues tightly. Write them deep within your heart."
