Rejected Michigan Tourism Posters

On TV, we've heard the mellifluous tones of Tim Allen's voice over stunning Michigan footage. And those of us advancing in age can recall the long-running "Say, YES, to Michigan" campaign before we were "Pure Michigan." But what about the campaigns that didn't quite measure up over the years? The lesser-known, never-before-seen, and just plain rejected concepts, lost to history? Well, here's a collection of what's best described as a "fictional retrospective" of IMAGINED Michigan tourism posters throughout the decades that were rejected for various (often humorous) reasons. While their history is fabricated, each work in this series is an original work of art by me, accompanied by an engaging story of how each was created and rejected, complete with fictional characters, artists and eccentrics.
