A Pier For All Seasons

It’s historic. It’s iconic. It’s majestic. The Grand Haven Pier and Lighthouses might not be the Gateway Arch or the Golden Gate Bridge, but they’re well known and well-liked in the Midwest. Tens of thousands of people visit them every year – many of them from out of state. I have taken many photographs of the pier and lighthouses...I like to portray its multitude of expressions and hopefully people will relate with the feeling of familiarity. The four images of my entry also offer the viewer a look into the beauty of the seasons of Michigan and the Great Lakes Region. (Four 24x36 prints on metal)
