Street Level Photo

Recent technological advancements have caused the world to be flooded with an abundance of images. While the title ‘Photographer’ used to require a level of experience and mastery, today anyone with a cell phone can easily produce an image. Individuals portray their lives and experiences online in a curated library of edited photos meant to communicate a specific aesthetic to onlookers. This work translates the barrage of digital images into printed media. Instead of scrolling though, the viewer is engulfed by the scrambled and broken up, landscape causing these spaces to be both familiar and unfamiliar.
