As a citizen and an artist I am witness to a time when regional wars cause havoc and the earth’s resources are being exponentially depleted. The unrolling of the scroll-like narrative of “A Play in Five Acts” is, in itself, a journey and a passage of time. Are we simply observers on the way or are we acting, caring stewards of the planet? Yet, the perseverance of the actors in this drama causes me to look at the future in an encouraging way. Within the narrative is an alternative world where animals, machines and people cohabitate and where technology contributes to a promising outcome.
