"Redemption Draws Nigh"

After being a visitor at a WWII reenactment. I began to realized more the younger generation are growing up not appreciating the fact that at one time the entire nation was unified in one clear goal of, "saving the world". It was the men and woman of the Greatest Generation who did just that, rising up to defend this republic which helps to teach me the Christian principle of self sacrifice. The black and white view inside of the Higgins Boat speaks of the small amount of safety the men had before they stepped out into the full color of what the liberation of Europe would cost. These men in this one boat were among thousands of others all from different walks of life helping one another, encouraging one another on that fateful day, June 6, 1944. They are the men and woman of "The Greatest Generation"
