IMPERIAL DREAMS (DRAMA) [SAT. SEPT. 26 @ 6PM] - Inspired by true events, this compelling drama with strong performances centers on Bambi, a street-smart 21-year-old man who is fresh off a 28-month jail stint for gang activity, when he returns to his old stomping grounds in Watts, Los Angeles. He has educated himself while behind bars, and now that he’s free, he is determined turn his credos and chronicles into legitimate, published writings. But soon after returning, he finds himself the sole caretaker of his four year-old son. To patch his life back together for the sake of his child—and to have any hope of bringing his aspirations to fruition—he needs to get on a legit payroll, and get off parole. But to do so requires rewiring the killer he was brought up to be. AUDIENCE AWARD WINNER: BEST OF NEXT SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL --- To purchase passes visit www.WaterfrontFilm.org
