Dust

Mike Grier

DUST (SUNDAY SHORTS PROGRAM) [SUN. SEPT. 27 @ 3PM] - In a world that is rapidly changing - each year new species and new adaptations alter the balance of their ecosystems. Technology and deep tradition exist as symbiotic opposites dividing people who live in rural villages from those who live in walled cities. A deadly plague connected to a mysterious dust is devastating the countryside around Kabé, the world’s oldest city. Little is known about the dust or the unusual mind-sickness it causes but, as illness and death consume the countryside, Kabé is preparing to shut its gates—denying refuge to anyone outside the walls. Irezúmi, a misguided Tracker is hired by a black-market medicine merchant to find a cure. --- To purchase passes visit www.WaterfrontFilm.org
