"US Pro Challenge" 48" x 72" Oil on Canvas This a unique way of painting, done in a different technique. It's of the Pro Challenge international bike race in the Mountains of Colorado. The painting is viewed from a distance not up close to get the full effect of the bike race. I was in the flood in the Mountains of Colorado in Sept. 2013 and lost everything I owned including my art studio and all it's contents. I am just now starting over and this is the first piece I have painted since the flood. The Pro Challenge came by my house just before the flood. I was born and raised in Grand Rapids, graduated from Ottawa Hills High School, went to Kendall and also to Colorado State U in Art.
