"After The Storm" is a 48" High x 36" Wide x 1" Deep Oil painting of The United States National bird which was nearly wiped out for many decades from hunting and sport for the "protection" of fishing grounds. Pesticides like DDT also was havoc on the eagles and other birds. These pesticides collect in fish which make up most of the eagles diet. Since the use of DDT was restricted in 1972, eagles have rebounded and the United States Fish and Wildlife has upgraded the birds from the endangered species to threatened
