Unbound

Kate Meyer's avatar Kate Meyer

Imprisoned in wax and carved away to the core, "Unbound" pays tribute to the restraints that we impose upon ourselves when we fear a lack of power over our own lives. The bound flesh and white-knuckled grip caused by corseting one's outward appearance is the cage that we create to keep everything in our lives from becoming unraveled. As we learn to loosen the strings and let go of the illusion of control, we gain illumination. "Unbound" is the suffocating cage...and the deep breath of liberty.
