Oil on canvas of Albert Einstein. (4ft. x 6ft.) Throughout his hair I have incorporated the original chalkboard rendition of his Theory of Mass Energy Equivalence ( E=Mc2). I have given him the expression of one who has just figured out a really difficult puzzle, and has yet to put it down on paper. although this, and his theory of Relativity were presented in 1905 , I have taken the liberty of depicting a much older Einstein, only because the character in his face is more interesting. So much of our world today is a result of his genius, and I've attempted to capture that unique "Aha!" moment; when the conundrum of a given theorem became clear to him. Michael Feehan April 2014
