River Breeze, Dairy Freeze

This project would comprise of approximately 100 objects either wheel-thrown in porcelain or casted in resin dipped in paint and set on top of wooden 4x4's pedestal creating an imaginary architectural landscape or fictitious hierarchy. Each object is modeled of off some recognizable object however they are to varying degrees of representations. In some the function is present, in some it is completely negated. The conglomerations stand tall on a roll of blue industrial felt which created not only a base for the objects, but adds a layer of geographic structure that situations this imaginary world someone in between Narnia and Home Depot. The colors are rich and spring as if each objects is growing out of the industrial material into it's own reality. Above is a simple visual draft of what the sculpture will be in actuality. In September it will be much larger and include a sound component hidden within the roll of felt giving the whole structure a background sound of silly city sounds sampled from Tex Avery and Looney Tunes mashed with tones and frequency to disturb and please the ears listening. Samples of loops from previous pieces can be found on my website www.eatteeth.com.
