Rust Never Sleeps

Doris Larson's avatar Doris Larson

"Rust Never Sleeps" is an installation of six individual quilted fabric pieces. Images in the fabric pieces are made by wrapping rusted objects (chains, rakes, shovels, etc.) in treated fabric. These images are incorporated into a unified composition. One of the pieces includes a photo transfer of a Lake Michigan wave. All of the pieces are original works of art.
