Fluidity

The image that was used for "Fluidity" was created in Yellowstone National Park during the summer of 2013. This image is a reflection of the forest captured in a puddle along a hiking trail that I was on. I was not interested in what was above me but instead it was what was below my feet that caught my attention. The process I work in is a hand transfer process that produces one of kind results. I enlarged the image to 72" x 72" and dissected it to 4"x4" squares that was transferred to 300 pound watercolor paper. The entire image was re-assembled in vertical strips of 18 with 18 total strips completing the image. I started this piece in October of 2013 and completed it March 2014.
