This is and has been my studio gallery for 12 years, within the world famous Heidelberg Project on Detroits east side. these sculptural metal creatures stem from one that i made in 1992. that particular one evolved out of a subconscious repressed memory of a recurring nightmare of the Iron Man that i had as a ten and eleven year old, I propose to make an instalation that replicates this. my house is an ever changing art environment. i have taken issue with the drug war and the wars in the middle east. the piece with the heads speaks about casualties of war mainly woman and children. sculptures are made with metal from the demolished J.L Hudsons Building downtown Detroit as well as f-18 fighter jet parts, The S and H green stamp sign is straight out of Tyree Guytons dumpster on Heidelberg street. my studio gallery was used when hollywood was filming Detroit 187. Tyree has included my work when making presentations at his openings. my studio is often linked to the Heidelberg Project.
