Images of the Ordinary: Figures in Motion is a triptych painting which celebrates a kind of energy that is an important aspect of being human; the motions of ordinary, everyday life. In our daily lives the simple and the ordinary are easy to ignore. Every day we engage in movement and see it all the time. But do we really see it? The movements that I choose to portray are natural, spontaneous and un-staged. These ordinary motions act as a common thread that binds us together as human beings. The size of this three-panel oil painting is 5 feet high and 12 feet wide.
