Rockin' Colors Mural

Jennifer Mercede's avatar Jennifer Mercede

I love to paint & draw & write. My work is spontaneous & free flowing. Its joyful to create & I hope its joyful to look at! Words are inspired by conversations I overhear/ have, songs I'm listening to & thoughts I have. Colors and shapes are reactions to ones that go before. My goal is to remain connected to my bliss/ to stay in the moment as I create. This wall is 8x24 feet. I used Nova Color Acrylic paint, watercolor crayons, ball point pen, markers and spray paint. The mural is painted on a plywood wall generously donated by Rockford Construction. It took about a week (roughly 50 hours) to complete on site. To learn more about my process, please enjoy the making of the mural video @: The mural is for sale as an entire piece, or as individual panels. Please inquire about pricing. Stop on by, I will be there all days of Artprize painting & selling prints & paintings! Grand Rapids Childrens Museum 11 Sheldon Ave NE
