Persistence

The way we see is fascinating. Persistence of vision is one way that we experience our world. From movies and television to the simple Zoetrope. We see a series of pictures and our brain puts them together. My ArtPrize submision uses wire figures to represent a three dimensional version of the flip book we all made as kids. With a little motion and some strobe light the wire frame animation will come to life. The goal is to inspire curiousity into those that watch it, and make them want to understand more about the world around them. As a bonus I am going to have some fun with the sequencing control system by making it my version of "steampunk" and placing it on top as another thing to watch; it should be fun.
