Red, Blue, Yellow

"Red, Blue, Yellow" is a homage to the three colors that give life to my work as a painter. Every other color that I use, whether I am painting a still life, landscape , abstract or figure, comes from the colors red, blue and yellow. This work is also about movement, or action painting, inspired by the Abstract Expressionist painter, Jackson Pollock. From a distance, at 6 feet high and 12 feet wide, "Red, Blue,Yellow" invites the viewer to imagine walking into a vibrant world of energy and motion. Up close, the viewer can see the dynamic sense of movement through curving lines and drips of paint on the canvas.
