Homage Van Gogh

In this piece my inspiration was a self-portrait Vincent Van Gogh painted. I decided I would bring my own flair to his portrait by taking his 2D painting and create a relief portrait. What is going on in the portrait is Vincent is painting a landscape. Vincent’s favorite color was yellow ochre so I tried to bring the color in as much as possible. There are some references in this piece of Vincent’s past art.
