“The Run Out of Carson City” is the illustration of a moment captured in gritty black and white as the wild Mustangs of Nevada are rounded up for auction. The image accompanying this profile is a small part of the overall drawing, along with a portion of the image I am drawing from. The final artwork will be over 4 feet long, 3 feet wide and will include approximately 8 horses (it is landscape orientation). This drawing is significant in my artistic journey as it is the beginning of a new direction in my equine imagery that is more graphic, edgy, and stirring. 20% of the sale of this drawing will be donated to Horses Haven in Howell, Michigan.
