The first board, on the left, contains design process work for my original drag bike design which is designed to attract younger riders to Harley-Davidson. The board includes trucks which are also my original designs. The second board, on the right, shows sample work from the book, The Jungle Way, which I had the privilege to illustrate. The 1:5 scale motorcycle model is made of design foam for the body work and wheels, automotive brake line for the frame, aluminum tubing for the exhaust, a model kit for the Twin Cam 88 motor, brass tubing for the forks, an RC car shock for the suspension, aluminum sculptor's wire for the handle bars, metal mesh for the air intake and a miniature CD for each brake rotor. The motorcycle's brake lines were made from a cord from an old headset. The front fender is vacuum formed plastic.
