Prehistoric Angry Bird

When I began this series, I wanted to investigate the pop culture imagery of the video game Angry Birds, and I began exploring how these creatures (if they existed in prehistoric times) would have looked before evolving. The Prehistoric Angry Bird and Prehistoric Pig sculptures demonstrates the predecessors of the Angry Bird. Along with this these two sculptures consists the Prehistoric Flock, which is made up of over 100 small scale sculptures. These are completed using two techniques - saw-dust firing and Raku.
