Fountain Street Church
Fountain Street Church is a beautiful, historic, downtown landmark. The Fountain Street Church Art Committee manages seven exhibitions each year, one of which is dedicated to ArtPrize. The Church has been an ArtPrize venue since the first event in 2009. In 2015, 17,000 visitors to the Church viewed works by 26 artists. In addition to works by ArtPrize artists, the stunning art and architecture of the Church sanctuary attracts many visitors. Independent jurors engaged by the Social Action Committee and the American Civil Liberties Union will award two $1000 prizes for works that best express the theme of the exhibition.
