Fountain Street Church
Photo Credit: Dave Guthrie. Fountain Street Church is a beautiful, historical, downtown landmark. In partnership with the American Civil Liberties Union we are hosting an ArtPrize exhibit titled, "Art to Change the World: Inspiring Social Justice”. The exhibit honors the role art plays as a change agent for social and economic justice, which demands that basic human needs be met, diversity respected, and freedom of expression and action fostered. Violence and discrimination of any kind deny social justice. Last year's exhibit drew over 18,000 visitors. It was recognized by an ArtPrize juror as one of the top 5 venues, and 3 of our artists were recognized by an ArtPrize juror or the media for their outstanding works. Architectural and historical aspects of the building will also be available for viewing.
