The YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids is one of the building blocks that makes the foundation of our community through supporting healthy living, youth development, and social responsibility. Thousands of people come through our doors every week. We are conveniently located downtown, across from Grand Valley State University's Pew Campus. With easy access to the main roads, highways, and only walking distance to the center of downtown, we are an ideal spot to begin your ArtPrize adventure. This year we are an outside venue only. The YMCA is more than just a gym, it's a destination. It is a place where people come to hang out, exercise, learn new skills, and make new friends.

Artist & Connection Information
The YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids is always happy to support our community. Art is an expression of ideas, thoughts, feelings, issues, and so much more. The Y is thrilled to support this freedom of expression and happy that ArtPrize helps bring attention to why art is so important. We are an outdoor venue only this year. The YMCA is located right at the entrance of downtown, across the street from Grand Valley's Pew Campus, and a block away from the Gerald R. Ford Museum and the Van Andel Public Museum. There is heavy foot traffic along this area, and we are right along a main road and near exits. We are a very popular destination for many people in the city of Grand Rapids with a strong family and community focus. Thousands of people come to our facility every week and are excited year-to-year to see what new art will be displayed at their home away from home
