2012 Overture
"2012 Overture"...The title of this work is a take on "The 1812 Overture" written by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky as Op. 49. As you can see, besides the musical nature of the painting, there are also musical elements incorporated which help justify the title. It's also a play on the doomsdayers belief that according to ancient calendars, the world as we know it will end on December 12, 2012.
